Fashion Trend – Geometric Print Party Dresses

Hi Everyone,

On my lips – Maybelline Superstay 14 hr lipstick in Infinitely Fuschia

Sometimes you wish for that dream dress which is timeless, versatile, fits you perfectly, breathable, cheap and highlights your best feature always !! Yes, this dress from fashion boutique – Kiosha happened to be one of those dresses for me. Talk about the designer fashion drape, futuristic geometric print or the baby pink color, this dress had to be mine.

As you are aware of my panache for sexy designer back, this one with exposed zipper and in-cut sporty shoulders won my heart in one glance. Exposed zippers are much in vogue and gets you the instant attention. That’s one reason this dress could be easily transitioned from day to night look.

For the evening looks, I simply throw jackets, blazers or coats to save myself from the chill. To keep yourself warm and that too in SBN way, here it was….super stylish long blazer or coat which will make you stand way ahead in the fashion queue. Thanks to my stars, I was able to get my hands on this one and this has to be my wardrobe staple for a long long time to come.

Certain things always bring a smile to your face. Be it someone you love, your favourite drink, smiling people, the first monsoon spell or even your favourite colour combination! Colours are said to have a great influence on your mood. Certain colours are bound to lift your spirits and make you happier. For me, I love all shades of blue and I love mixing it with other hues! Cobalt blue with red and turquoise with orange or yellow are some of my all time favourite combinations. So when I saw this dress on Kiosha, I immediately knew I had to pair it with my cropped jacket. Light and flowy, this dress is perfect for summer days. And it is bang on trend with the uneven stripes. I accessorized with some bracelets and a statement ring. The white mango wedges help pull the entire look together giving it a sporty feel. What’s your favourite colour combination this summer?

The Summer

Top: Kiosha // Shoes: Chicnova // Accessories: H&M // Sunnies: Zara

This summer…. I want to be carefree, become less stressful, become calm , analyse things, become thoughtful, blog a bit more, try to become more stylish, experiment a little less with my hair, fall in love again, listen to different genres of music, get a tattoo in my forearm (hopefully), and above all take life as it is! What plans do you have for the summer of 2013?

Well besides my cranky thoughts at 3am in the morning, This is the last outfit I teamed with this amazing website called Kiosha and I must admit I’m in love with this outfit! This is my favourite of the three tops I styled for Kiosha and the prints and fabric and stitching of this top is just amazing!! You should probably check this website as its pretty economical too! Thumbs up for good quality fabric and not burning a hole in your pocket Kiosha deserves a big applause! Kudos to what the Kiosha is coming up with!

Top: Kiosha // Pants: Zara // Shoes: Charles & Keith also worn here // Bag: Hidesign // Cocktail Ring:H&M and Ozel //  Necklace: Ebay // Watch: Tommy Hilfiger old // Sunglasses:  Zara

Today’s post is mostly about my fascination and love for the color green topped with a pop of Mustard and black to complement both the colors! I love this dark shade of green color and when I first saw these pants in Zara I just couldn’t take my eyes away from it! Well the fact that it fit like a dream had nothing to do with my desire to own it since I tried it in the dressing room! As I mentioned in my previous blogpost, I’ve collaborated with this lovely website called Kiosha and today I’m styling this lovely cotton mustard top with my now favourite pants. The fabric of the top being cotton tends to crinkle fast no matter how many times I smoothen it but besides that, I love how light weight and versatile this top is for the summers!

I’ve teamed up with this lovely website called Kioshaand I’ve styled their outfit as I seemed fit! I wanted to post this outfit first because the butterflies in the shirt looked so free! And well I loved the combo of navy blue with Pink! Besides that I wanted my outfit to scream free so I’ve teamed it with boyfriend jeans and a pair of lovely metallic flats from Zara! I’d love to dress like this anytime of the year! Casual! Well the soaring temperatures dont give much of an option too but its pretty comfortable donning these boyfriend Jeans!

Kiosha’s collaboration with Ri(t)ch Styles brings us to one more outfit post today :) I styled another look for them and this time I chose a floral dress since florals totally shout SUMMER! Those of you who follow me on my blog and most of my social media platforms, must have seen my unending love for florals with the start of summer and I can right at this moment picturise how many more posts are gonna have this trend in them.

Plazzo Trends by Ri(t)ch Styles

Palazzo pants from the Disco Era are back! Much needed and just in time for the hot summers that are already heating up this country, as they are a lot more cooler – utility wise and style quotient wise :)  Palazzo pants are basically super wide leg trousers with a high waist which gives the illusion of longer legs thus making you look taller. They are perfect for people like me who lack height, plus they are made of lighter materials thus giving us dual valid reasons to wear them (by which I mean hoard them).

So when a few days ago approached me to style some of their products, I was more than happy to collaborate with them as their latest collection has some awesome Palazzo pants, along with other cool clothing and accessories. What’s important for a new clothing website, that is now competing with the zillion online shopping websites, is to offer its buyers that something different that makes them want to come back again and shop from you. Kiosha does that! While it doesn’t offer you hundreds of products, what it offers you are specially selected chic and stylish pieces which come with very affordable price tags.
For my first outfit as a part of this collaboration, I styled these bright pink palazzo pants with a graphic print summery tank and a really pretty turquoise stone cuff. The classy diamanté clutch and the comfy wedges I borrowed from my mom, as I could totally visualise this outfit on her as how she would have worn it in the 70′s :)

I’ll also give you some styling tips for wearing Palazzo pants:
  1. Take care of the length. An ideal pair of Palazzos should skim the floor with heels on.
  2. Wear fitted tops or tuck your top in when wearing Palazzos as it gives the illusion of a taller you.
  3. Opt for solid colours so that the look doesn’t break at too many places. Your tops can be colourful to balance the look.
  4. Wear wedges/block heels to add height.
  5. Accessorize with contrasting jewellery for jazzing up the outfit.
Now that you have all tips, get going girls to shop for some comfy Palazzo pants like the one I’ve worn and trust me, you are gonna thank me for the suggestion!

Neon, Stripes and Bees By Stilettos Diary

Hello Everyone!

Spring has finally arrived! It is the time to wear loads of colors and take a break from the monotonous black and white outfits. Don’t get me wrong. I love black and white trend but I quite need my daily dose of colors. Check out my new picks from

Lime Green Sling Bag – c/o (Buy here)
Bee earrings – c/o (Buy here)
Bow stripe top – c/o (Seems sold out but love this one here)

8 is turning out to be my favorite shopping destination. Remember my last outfit post? I love the accessories at I picked up the bee earrings, lime green sling bag and bow detailed striped top. This tribal ring
and stripe flats are still on my wish list (never ending). Will probably pick it up for my birthday.

I kept the styling simple. Paired Navy blue denims with stripe top and candy colored blazer. I added more color with my nail polish, matching heels and colorful accessories. I have a hourglass figure so skirts and dresses look much better on me.
